Agility Robotics revenue and Digit’s commercial path

Evidence brief only — not a sold ranking. Digit 4 ≠ Digit 5. Revenue filings ≠ tote-hour trophies.

Agility Robotics is one of the few humanoid vendors with both a multi-year commercial logistics narrative for Digit and public financial context via a proposed SPAC path (Churchill Capital Corp. XI). Trade headlines often compress “revenue,” “orders,” and “field hours” into one hype number. This brief keeps three ledgers separate: 2025 net sales, Digit 4 operational evidence, and Digit 5 announced orders/specs. Product home: Digit.

Rule one: Digit 4 field evidence ≠ Digit 5 announced

Agility’s 15 September 2026 Digit 5 unveil states that Digit 4 has logged more than 65,000 hours of operational time across numerous customer sites in North America, including GXO, Schaeffler, Amazon, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, with nearly three years of continuous commercial deployment framing (Digit 5 announcement). At GXO Flowery Branch, Agility separately reported Digit moving more than 100,000 totes (100k totes).

Digit 5 is the next generation: cooperatively safe architecture claims, higher payload/reach, faster charge cycle, swappable end-effectors, and early access expected in H1 2027 (general availability framed by end of 2027). Agility also cites more than $300 million in multi-year Digit 5 customer orders as of May 2026, subject to contractual milestones.

Do not assign Digit 4’s hours, tote counts, or site tenure to Digit 5 hardware. Announced specs and contracted order value are not the same evidence class as completed field hours.

What the revenue context actually says

Coverage of Agility’s S-4 materials ahead of the Churchill Capital XI combination reports roughly $1.8 million in 2025 net sales against a large operating loss (trade summaries cite ~$140 million operating loss / ~$100 million cash burn order of magnitude) (The Robot Report, 7 Sep 2026; Humanoids Daily / S-4 discussion also cites ~$1.78M net sales and related-party share of that year).

Read that gap honestly:

LedgerWhat careful readers can citeWhat it does not prove
~$1.8M 2025 net salesEarly commercial revenue scale (filing-backed reporting)That Digit already prints Digit 5 order-book revenue
>65k Digit 4 hours / 100k+ totesOperational field narrativeCurrent-period GAAP revenue matching valuation headlines
>$300M multi-year Digit 5 orders (as of May 2026)Contracted potential value subject to milestonesCash collected today
Illustrative RaaS ~$8,500/mo (S-4 coverage)Company unit-economics storyGuaranteed customer pricing for every deal
SPAC valuation headlinesCapital-markets narrativeField ranking or “#1 humanoid”

Agility’s own investor letter language (via S-4 exhibit coverage) stresses that the $300M+ Digit v5 figure is potential multi-year value, not a measure of current-period revenue, and relates to 1,000 Digit v5 robots on a three-year RaaS-style construct with milestone conditions.

We do not invent an Evidence Score that “solves” revenue vs hours. Unknown contractual details stay —.

Commercial path: RaaS vs ownership (illustrative)

TRR’s S-4 summary describes two monetization sketches for Digit v5:

  • RaaS: roughly $8,500/month (~$102k/year) plus ~$25,000 deployment fee; illustrative multi-year revenue per robot depending on assumptions.
  • Direct ownership: roughly $200,000 upfront plus deployment and annual software/maintenance — again illustrative.

Treat these as filing/unit-economics illustrations, not a public retail price list. Public per-unit sticker for walk-up buyers: —. Live commercials are enterprise-specific.

Deployment trajectory language in the same coverage (e.g. hundreds of Digit v5 units in 2027 scaling toward thousands later) is company projection. Mark unverified future volumes as roadmap.

Field depth that still matters (Digit 4)

Regardless of 2025 revenue magnitude, Agility’s logistics narrative remains one of the densest public industrial humanoid records:

  • Multi-year GXO commercial framing after late-2023 pilot / mid-2024 regular operations language.
  • 100,000+ totes at Flowery Branch.
  • 65,000+ Digit 4 hours and named industrial customers in the Digit 5 unveil.
  • Safety / standards participation claims (OSHA-recognized NRTL field evaluation language; ANSI/ISO humanoid safety workstreams) — cite as process signals, not as automatic global certification.

Compare evidence classes with Figure 03 (BMW partner sequencing) and Atlas (production-intent allocation). Different ledgers — not a trophy board. Navigation: 2026 evidence shortlist.

Digit 5 announced upgrades (label as announced)

From Agility’s unveil (vendor claims until field-proven on Digit 5 itself):

  • Up to ~50 lb (22.7 kg) repetitive lift framing; reach up to ~7.2 ft (2.2 m).
  • ~90-minute runtime with ~9-minute charge (10:1 run-to-charge vs Digit 4’s 2:1 language).
  • Human detection / safety cues / independent safety controller architecture; NVIDIA Halos launch-partner framing.
  • RoboFab Salem capacity designed up to 10,000 Digits/year — capacity design, not 2026 output.

Digit 5 early access: H1 2027 per Agility. Until then, operational KPIs remain Digit 4’s ledger.

Practical takeaway

  1. Quote ~$1.8M 2025 net sales as filing context — not as proof that humanoid logistics “doesn’t work.” Hours and totes are a separate evidence class.
  2. Keep $300M+ Digit 5 orders in the contracted / milestone column.
  3. Score Digit 4 for field depth; score Digit 5 for announced specs and order-book claims.
  4. Cross-read Digit, Figure 03, Atlas, and methodology.

FAQ

Did Agility make $18 million or $1.8 million?

Trade reporting on the S-4 cites about $1.8 million in 2025 net sales (some URL slugs say “18m” while the article body says $1.8M). Use the filing-backed $1.8M-scale figure, not the slug. Always prefer the SEC document for investment decisions.

Does low 2025 revenue mean Digit isn’t commercial?

No. It means recognized revenue was still small relative to capital and order-book narratives. Digit 4’s published hours/totes and named sites are operational evidence; they are not the same as large GAAP sales yet.

Is the $300 million figure current revenue?

No. Agility frames it as multi-year Digit 5 orders subject to milestones (as of May 2026), not current-period revenue. See the Digit 5 release and S-4 caveats.

When is Digit 5 available?

Agility expects early access in H1 2027 and broader availability for manufacturing/warehouse operators by end of 2027, with EU/UK market-access marks planned. Until delivery, do not merge Digit 5 specs into Digit 4 field stats.
