What is Sunday Memo?
Memo is Sunday Robotics' first product: a household robot designed around everyday chores rather than a human silhouette. It rolls on a wheeled base with a low center of gravity and passive stability, so it stays upright even when powered off. A torso and lower-body joints let it rest at about 4 ft for most tasks and reach up to about 7 ft for high shelves. Its soft silicone shell and compliant control are chosen for safety around people.
Sunday was founded by Tony Zhao, known for the ALOHA robot-learning system, and Cheng Chi, known for Diffusion Policy. Memo learns from people wearing Sunday's Skill Capture Glove rather than from teleoperating robots, and Sunday says it does not teleoperate Memo inside customers' homes. Its latest model, ACT-2, folded laundry with 99.1% zero-shot success in homes it had never seen.

What Memo does at home
Sunday demonstrates Memo on the full after-dinner routine: clearing the table (including wine glasses), scraping plates, loading and starting the dishwasher, and pulling espresso shots. In laundry it folds socks and clothes. Its ACT-2 model reached 99.1% zero-shot success folding laundry across unseen homes. Memo is trained to move at about half human speed for safety. Sunday says its manipulation models run at 60–80% of the speed at which the training data was collected.
Beta users will schedule chores by voice or through the Sunday app.

The first 50 beta members also receive a Mini Memo. It is a gift in the beta program, not a catalog SKU and not a second URL.
How Memo compares
- vs 1X NEO: the other high-profile home robot. NEO is bipedal with a vendor-stated consumer price and pre-order (per our NEO page). Memo is wheeled, has published runtime and IP ratings, and is in a free beta with no price.
- vs LG CLOiD: the closest design: wheeled, a height-changing torso, focused on kitchen and laundry. LG has published only arm and hand specs. Sunday publishes a full spec table.
- vs Galaxea R1 Pro: a similar wheeled dual-arm layout with 7-DoF arms, but sold as a research and industrial platform rather than a consumer home robot.
