What is the AgiBot G2?
The G2 is the second generation of AgiBot's Genie line, an upgrade of the model it released in November 2023. Instead of legs it stands on a four-wheel steerable chassis. A folding, lifting lower body and a 3-DoF waist let it bend, twist and change height between roughly 1.23 m and 1.80 m, so it can work at human workstations without changes to the site.
AgiBot calls it an "industrial-grade interactive embodied operation robot". It is built from automotive-grade components with IP42 protection, and its arms carry joint torque sensors throughout for force-controlled assembly with ±0.1 mm repeatability. It also has an interaction layer (face display, multi-person voice and eye-gaze tracking) so the same platform can guide visitors or greet customers.
Onboard it runs AgiBot's GO-1 foundation model and GE-1 world model. The high-compute edition uses NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 at up to 2070 TFLOPS (FP4).

What is on the public file
Wheeled: 4 steerable wheels, omnidirectional, crab-walk
End effector optional (dexterous hand or gripper)
Stereo + 3 fisheye + 3 RGB-D cameras, 2 LiDARs, 8 ultrasonic, 4-mic array
GO-1 + GE-1 · 500 TOPS (std) or 2070 TFLOPS FP4 (high-compute)
What the G2 is used for
AgiBot's user manual lists logistics handling, high-precision assembly, showroom guidance, reception, security inspection, education and research, exhibitions and entertainment. At launch the company demonstrated four scenarios: seatbelt lock-cylinder assembly alongside human workers, RAM insertion that it says the robot learned in one hour, parcel handling with its OmniHand, and guided museum tours.
Two features target continuous shifts: dual hot-swappable batteries and optional autonomous docking for recharge. Safety combines 360° sensing (fisheye cameras, two LiDARs, eight ultrasonic sensors) with arm-surface contact detection that changes motion on impact. AgiBot says the G2 is for indoor use on flat floors with slopes of 5° or less.
Launch timeline and availability
- Nov 2023: AgiBot releases the first-generation model that G2 upgrades (Genie G1).
- 16 Oct 2025: AgiBot G2 officially launched in Shanghai. AgiBot says formal deployment has begun in automotive-parts manufacturing, following earlier work in consumer-electronics precision manufacturing.
- 28 Apr 2026: AgiBot publishes the G2 user manual with the full parameter table.
AgiBot does not publish a price or order volumes on its own channels. Access is through enterprise sales.

AgiBot G1 (previous generation, Nov 2023)
G2 is the second generation of AgiBot's Genie line, an upgrade of the model released in November 2023. Specs on this page are G2 only — do not mix with A2 or X2.
How the G2 compares
- vs Galaxea R1 Pro: the closest form factor, a wheeled dual-arm humanoid with 7-DoF arms and a 1.5 m/s chassis (per our R1 Pro page). The G2 adds IP42, automotive-grade parts and a heavier (185 kg) industrial build.
- vs Galbot G1: another wheeled dual-arm platform, also rated 5 kg per arm on our page. The G2's differentiators are torque sensing in every arm joint and the onboard Jetson Thor option.
- vs AgiBot A2: same maker. The A2 is the bipedal line aimed at expo, retail and reception. The G2 is the wheeled industrial workhorse. Don't mix their specs.
AgiBot G2 FAQ
- Is the AgiBot G2 a humanoid if it has wheels?
- AgiBot calls it a wheeled humanoid. It has a humanoid upper body (head, two 7-DoF arms, a 3-DoF waist) on a folding, lifting lower body and a four-wheel omnidirectional base instead of legs.
- How much can the AgiBot G2 lift?
- AgiBot's manual rates each arm at 5 kg, both arms together at 10 kg and a dual-arm peak at 15 kg.
- How long does the AgiBot G2 run?
- About four hours on two hot-swappable batteries totalling 1652 Wh. Batteries can be swapped while powered on, and an optional dock supports autonomous recharging for 24/7 operation.
- How much does the AgiBot G2 cost?
- AgiBot does not publish a price. Buyers go through AgiBot's enterprise sales channel.
